What is your professional experience/background?
I'm a book nerd at heart, having received my bachelor's degree from UNLV in English Literature. I am a graduate of the University of Arizona's law school. I have been an attorney for almost 16 years. In the past, I have represented employees in claims of discrimination based on sex, race, disability and religion. For the past 11 years, I have practiced immigration law and I love to serve my community every day, helping families stay united and assisting them in achieving their dream of prospering in this country. Since 2019, I have been a member of the GWP Immigration Law team where I work with an amazing group of people whose central purpose is to uplift the immigrant community nationwide.
Professional goal: I would like to continue educating our community in the areas of immigration law and add information on how employees have a right to work in a safe and discrimination-free workplace.
Personal goal: Take my kids to El Salvador so they can see how beautiful our country and people are.
